The u3a national body – the Third Age Trust – looks after all the u3as in the UK, providing educational and administrative support. As a member of Kenton u3a you will receive their quarterly magazine, ‘Third Age Matters’. Which is full of news, opinions and events and activities.
You can sign up to receive the monthly national email newsletter from the Third Age Trust. The London Region of u3as is a regional network of u3as operating within the London area. It exists for the mutual benefit of London u3as and their members. There are currently 44 u3as in the London Region totalling nearly 26,000 members. Individuals become members of the London Region of u3as by virtue of their membership of Kenton and District u3a.
The London Region talks programme take place on the third Monday afternoons via Zoom each month at 5.30pm. Click on this link to the flyer for information about three talks from January to March 2023. On Monday 16th January the talk was on London’s Waste – Past, Present and Future. The 20th February topic is the life and work of the French artist Paul Cézanne. On March 20th the talk, Changing London, will look at some of the areas of London which have changed over the centuries.
