On Tuesday 28 July 2026, Pete played his favourite music tracks to a large audience of members.

Pete narrated stories from his past including his brushes with famous stars in the West End. These were thanks to his father being a Stage Manager at a West End Theatre. He spoke of the many times he had to chose between homework and going backstage with his dad!

His preferred genre was the American Big Band sound, but there were examples from Musicals (Vittorio Grigolo) and from the Rock Era (Queen). There were also ballads including Bobby Darin singing A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square.

The afternoon was much enjoyed by those present.
