On Wednesday 24 June 2026 we held our AGM and Summer Social in place of the normal Monthly Meeting.

After a double-check to ensure the meeting was quorate – and given the soaring temperatures outside we were pleased to achieve quoracy – we got started in the air-conditioned comfort of the Harrow Room at the Harrow District Masonic Centre. The Minutes of the Previous Meeting were approved and signed, and the Chair’s Report was formally accepted.

We then had our Treasurer’s Report and the Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2026 which showed a good result. The report was accepted and the Accounts were signed.

We then moved on to the election of the Officers, the Committee and the Independent Examiner of the Accounts. All went without a hitch, and the business was all completed in about 45 minutes.

We then moved into the air-conditioned comfort of the Kenton Room for refreshments and the picnics that the members had brought for the occasion.

Our next Monthly Meeting is scheduled for 22 July 2026 at 10:00am and will be a talk on The History of Recorded Sound (Part 2).
