Our Gardening Group met on Wednesday 10 June 2026 for a visit to the garden of one of our members.

Cyril and Evelyn hosted the event and made room for all of the visitors in case there were showers. Sadly, the short bursts of sunshine were overwhelmed by the heavy rain showers, but our hosts’ planning had already catered for that eventuality.

During one heavy shower we sat down and were given a quiz with many of the answers producing surprising results.

During another shower, a sumptuous tea was served to those present.

All told, it was a most successful occasion, and much about our future programme and events was discussed.

Our next meeting will be on Monday 06 July 2026 when we will be re-visiting Church Gardens in Harefield where we will be visiting alongside the Exploring London Group. Another tea will be included in the cost of the visit.
