Our Gardening Group met on Wednesday 09 July 2025 for afternoon tea in the garden of Greg and Kathy.
The garden features a central lawn with a wonderful display of Lavateria being used as a backdrop to the borders and also as camouflage for the fencing behind the borders.

The detailing continues with a wide selection of plants including the famous pelargoniums which have occupied Greg so much during this Spring. As well as the planting, there is an abundance of objects, some with a definite Chinese theme.

In particular, the use of mirrors is extremely effective, and many of our members complimented Kathy and Greg on the use of a trickling water feature. As well as the lavateria and pelargoniums, there was a selection of herbs and a corner of the garden made over to tomatoes. Golden Rod was on display as were the delphiniums interspersed with alstromeria.
The Tea Party was very much enjoyed by all who attended. The next meeting of the group will be on 30 July 2025 at 2.30pm.
